We are excited to say that 180 sculptors from 56 different countries applied to participate in our fifth and final International Sculpture Symposium in 2020 – the most applications we’ve ever received! On February 27th, we welcome you to join in our excitement as we announce Sculpture Saint John’s 2020 Artists and Community Partners.
This fundraising event will be held at the New Brunswick Museum. Join us for wine & cheese and a silent auction of artworks created by friends of Sculpture Saint John. We can’t wait to tell you about our plans for 2020!

Sculpture Saint John is a six-week international sculpture symposium that brings artists from across Canada and around the world to Saint John to create public art for New Brunswick communities. This symposium is the only one of its kind in Atlantic Canada.
Since 2012, Sculpture Saint John has made a meaningful impact in the arts and culture sector in New Brunswick. By 2020, Sculpture Saint John will have placed 38 public sculptures in various cities, towns and villages in New Brunswick, a total of 28 New Brunswick emerging artists will have been part of our unique artist-in-residency internship program, and thousands of children will have participated in our sculpture workshops at local schools and community centres.
