Head to Corked Wine Bar for a fantastic evening of readings with Canadian authors Genevieve Scott (CATCH MY DRIFT) and Kerry Lee Powell (WILLEM DE KOONING’S PAINTBRUSH) on Tuesday, May 22 at 7 PM. This is a FREE event. Books will be available for purchase courtesy of Westminster Books.

Genevieve Scott is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s Creative Writing MFA. Her short fiction has been published in literary journals in Canada and the United Kingdom. She is also a creative writing mentor to at-risk teen girls in Los Angeles with the non-profit WriteGirl. CATCH MY DRIFT is her debut novel.
Kerry Lee Powell is a Canadian writer, whose debut short story collection WILLEM DE KOONING’S PAINTBRUSH was longlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize, and shortlisted for the Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize and the Governor General’s Award for English-language fiction, in 2016.
