Water! at Gallery 78

Water, water everywhere! Watershed by James Wilson explores with quiet, astute reflection, the tributaries, floodplains, marshes and tidal effect of the vast all encompassing St. John River watershed through his camera lens and discerning eye. The Art of Water is a further journey into the facets of water from brilliant reflections, to surreal interpretations of moments captured in oil, acrylic and watercolour, including new work by Cliff Turner, Victoria Moon Joyce, Gerry Collins, David McKay among others.  A third exhibition from Newfoundland is a thoughtful and serene grouping of traditional Japanese woodblocks, paintings, and poetry in Island Waters. The exhibitions continue until October 28 at Gallery 78, corner of Church and Queen.
