CATAPULT Launch Day: Fall 2024 🚀

Join us as we celebrate the achievements of the latest cohort of CATAPULT Arts Accelerator grads from the fall of 2024!

We will hear pitches from Tina Antle, Ranz Jaren Bontogon, Max Brown, Alina Karmadanova, Janie McLaughlin, Sabarah Pilon, April Pyne, Jasmine Violette, and afterward we will gather for some snacks and good conversation.

The venue is not yet confirmed, so stay tuned, but we will be in Moncton, as per the details below:

ArtsLink NB’s CATAPULT Arts Accelerator gives artists the tools to be prolific and build sustainable careers. It’s business skills training, career development, workshops, and mentorship – all in one program – and applications for the Winter 2025 cohort are now open!

CATAPULT Arts Accelerator Launch Day: Winter 2024 🚀

Update: Due to inclement weather, we’ve decided to postpone this event until Sunday, April 14. We will still be at the Saint John Arts Centre at 2pm to celebrate our latest CATAPULT Arts Accelerator grads.

Jacqui Clydesdale, Ella Christison​​, Duncan Ireland, Ronnie Stanley, Janine Daigle, Nadine Lipton, Ryan Cubberley, and Catherine Arseneault will be presenting their pitches about their artistic practice — where they’ve been and the direction they plan to take.

Federal and Provincial Governments Announce a Total of $142,000 to Support the CATAPULT Arts Accelerator

This morning at the Imperial Theatre in Saint John, we were joined by Wayne Long, Member of Parliament for Saint John–Rothesay, who announced a federal contribution of $92,000 for ArtsLink NB through the Regional Economic Growth through Innovation (REGI) program. The announcement was made on behalf of the Honourable Gudie Hutchings, Minister of Rural Economic Development and Minister responsible for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).

Over an 8-week period, CATAPULT participants receive training in fundamental entrepreneurial skills.
