VisionArts Workshops

Galerie d’art Louise-et-Reuben-Cohen is offering free visual art workshops for children and youth during the summer season.

These workshops aim to introduce children and youth to artistic creation and contemporary art in relation to the gallery’s exhibitions and the environmental park.

We will explore a multitude of artistic mediums such as drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, nature art and sculpting.

Two series of workshops will be offered. Workshops for children ages 5 to 9 will take place every Tuesday from 2 to 3 PM starting July 4^th 2017. Every second Tuesday, starting Tuesday, July 11^th (if temperature permits it) the activity will be a visit of the University’s environmental park followed by an outside activity. No registration is required, but spots are limited. We ask that children be accompanied by an adult and that they dress appropriately (some activities can be messy).

Workshops for youth ages 10 to 14 will take place every second Thursday from 2 to 3 PM starting July 13^th 2017. More advanced creation techniques will be taught.

Groups and daycares are also welcome to reserve a private activity at a different time by contacting the gallery.
