October 12, 2017 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Fog Forest Gallery in Sackville, NB is very pleased to open a new exhibition of paintings by Yvon Gallant and Alvin Richard with a public reception on Thursday, Oct 12, 2017 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. All are welcome.
“Harvest / Moisson – Paintings by Yvon Gallant and Alvin Richard” will consist of fourteen paintings by each artist. The two Acadian artists, both from Moncton, have followed very different paths in becoming professional artists, and each has a distinct approach to their art and a unique artistic style. They have worked on this project independently and their individual approach styles add contrast and interest to the exhibition.
Janet Crawford, owner of Fog Forest says, “This exhibition will be a ‘harvest’ in the true sense of the word by bringing together the bountiful creative energies of these two painters. Gallant and Richard have sown and harvested some very imaginative and beautiful paintings.”
