The Elm City String Quartet Plays Washington, Janáček, & Schumann 
The Elm City String Quartet continues their season with five shows across New Brunswick.
The concert features an eclectic mix of pieces, including the folk-infused quartet “Middleground” by Shelly Washington, Leos Janáček’s 1st string quartet that was inspired by the Tolstoy novella of the same name, and Schumann’s String Quartet No. 1 – a beautiful balance of classicism and romanticism.
