Petapan: First Light Indigenous Arts Symposium invites Indigenous visual artists within Atlantic Canada to apply to offer hands-on workshops in their practice during the Petapan symposium. The workshops can involve painting, basketry, beadwork, carving, drawing, etc. Artists should be prepared to offer a two-hour workshop, during which participants can complete a small piece of work.
Submission deadline: January 31, 2024.
Please submit your artist bio and CV, along with a brief statement indicating your interest and which artistic practice you would offer in a workshop, as well as up to five photographs of your work to: communications@mawiart.org
