(more…)We’re hosting a webinar presentation by Canada Council for the Arts program officers Megan Mabey and Marie-France Hurtubise. They will discuss arts grants, how to apply, and how to make your application the best it can be.

“The Canada Council for the Arts is Canada’s public arts funder, with a mandate to foster and promote the study and enjoyment of, and the production of works in, the arts. This information session will introduce the Council’s granting programs. Program officers will provide guidance on applying for a grant, what to expect through the application process, and how to put your best foot forward.”

These One 2 Ones are open to pass holders at the symposium, but they are also open to any ArtsLink NB member. They will be held at the Crowne Plaza Moncton, 1005 Main St.

Kathleen (Katie) Buckley is an arts administrator and writer from Saint John, New Brunswick. She recently served as Executive Director of Third Space Gallery and is a founding director of the Atlantic Art at Night Festivals Alliance (AANFA).
Over the last three years, she has provided grant writing support to non-profit organizations and artists of all career levels applying to a variety of public arts funders including Canada Council for the Arts, Heritage Canada, Music-Musique NB, artsnb, Arts Nova Scotia, Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ), Sheila Hugh Mackay Foundation, and more.
Kathleen’s writing has also appeared in Visual Arts News, CreatedHere Magazine, and Predella: Journal of Visual Arts. Kathleen is now self-employed as a professional grant writer.

There will be a one-hour information session, which doesn’t require pre-registration, followed by One 2 One time slots that can be booked. These sessions are for ArtsLink NB members. If you don’t already have a membership, you can sign up here.
