Wabanaki Modern Book Launch and Film Premier

You are invited to a celebration of the “Wabanaki Modern” project. On October 15th at 3 pm at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

We are launching the 3-language book (in English, French, and Mi’kmaq) Wabanaki Modern: The Artistic Legacy of the 1960s “Micmac Indian Craftsmen” by Emma Hassencahl-Perley and John Leroux, and published by Goose Lane Editions.
We will also be premiering the 22-minute documentary film of the same name by Hemmings Films.
