You are invited to a celebration of the “Wabanaki Modern” project. On October 15th at 3 pm at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

Wabanaki Modern, Kiskukewey, Moderne. Emma Hassencahl-Perley and John Leroux. Book launch and documentary film premiere, Wabanki Modern, the Artistic Legacy of the 1960s Micmac Indian Craftsman. October 15th, 3pm, Beaverbrook Art Gallery, Fredericton, NB.

We are launching the 3-language book (in English, French, and Mi’kmaq) Wabanaki Modern: The Artistic Legacy of the 1960s “Micmac Indian Craftsmen” by Emma Hassencahl-Perley and John Leroux, and published by Goose Lane Editions.

We will also be premiering the 22-minute documentary film of the same name by Hemmings Films.
