
Donna Morrisdssey Reads from Rage the Night

The Lorenzo Society is excited to announce that is squeezing one last event into the reading series this term!

Donna Morrissey has published seven nationally best-selling novels, plus a memoir, Pluck. She has received The Winifred Holtby Prize for fiction in England, Margaret Alexander Edwards Award in the United States, as well as multiple awards and nominations for her writing in Canada, including the Arthur Ellis Award for best crime novel of 2017. Her novel, Sylvanus Now, was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Prize, and her fiction has been translated into Italian, French, German, Dutch and Japanese.
Her memoir Pluck is currently under exploration for a six week television series with feature film writer/producer Rhonda Buckley, St. John’s, NL. She is currently finishing up a memoir written about her Father, called Consequences.
On April 15th , Donna will join us at the Central Branch of the Saint John Free Public Library from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. She will offer a reading from her most recent novel Rage the Night and answer audience questions about the novel, her writing process, and more!
