The varied and exciting program blends baroque music by Bach, Loeillet, and Vivaldi with 20th-century works from Brazil, Argentina and Spain by Villa-Lobos, Azuma, Piazzolla and Granados, among others. 🌈Come out on Saturday afternoon, rain or shine, for a fun afternoon of poetry and music with Rae Spoon, in collaboration with Femmes Against Empire and a lineup of local queer artists!
 
This event takes place in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Peskotomuhkati, Wolastoqiyik and Mi’kmaq People.
 
🚪Doors: 2 PM, 🎤Show: 2:30 PM sharp!
Cover $10 to 20 sliding scale. No one turned away for lack of funds.
No advance tickets. Cash and square payments at the door.

Masking required (respirator masks recommended).
Negative COVID self-test encouraged before event.
We will have a HEPA filter on stage (5000 sq ft strength)

Please plan to attend Music for a While, a concert featuring soprano Sally Dibblee, violist Natalia Delacroix and guitarist Steven Peacock, on Wednesday, May 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Wilmot United Church, downtown at the corner of King and Carleton.

You’ll hear music by Purcell, Loeillet, Granados, Villa-Lobos and Weill, among others, as well as arrangements by Steven Peacock of folk songs from Newfoundland and from the British Isles.
