The New Brunswick Arts Board (NBAB), established under the New Brunswick Arts Board Act, is a corporate body with a mandate to facilitate and promote the creation of arts, facilitate the enjoyment and understanding of the arts, to advise the government on arts policy, and to administer funding programs for professional artists.

The NBAB – Board of Directors (the Board) consists of between nine (9) and eleven (11) members including up to six (6) voting members appointed by the Minister; up to three (3) voting members appointed by the Lieutenant-Governor in Council on the recommendation of the Minister; the Executive Director of NBAB and one (1) employee of the Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture, designated by the Minister, both who serve as non-voting members.

Current Opportunity:

The Government of New Brunswick is currently seeking to fill four (4) member positions, of these, three (3) appointed by the Minister and one (1) appointed by the Lieutenant-Governor in Council.  Expressions of interest are invited to fill these positions but may also be used to fill future vacancies.
