Join award-winning writer Shoshanna Wingate for this three-hour intensive on grant writing for creatives. I have been awarded multiple grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, Access Copyright Foundation, ArtsNB, and the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council and I’ve also sat on arts juries. As an arts advocate, I want to show you how to write winning grant applications to support your arts practice.
You will learn what peer evaluation juries look for in grant applications and how to avoid common mistakes. We’ll break down the application process into easy steps and you will learn how to write concisely about your practice and projects. We’ll go over budgets, supplemental materials, and CVs. There will be time allotted for questions and answers.
This workshop is open to writers and artists at all stages of their careers.
