AX is thrilled to announce an open call for applications from Indigenous artists from the Wabanaki Confederacy.
AX is a non-profit charitable arts organization committed to providing accessible arts programming to the community of Sussex, New Brunswick. We invite talented artists from the Wabanaki nations to showcase their work in a group exhibition scheduled for January/February of 2025. Artists will be paid current CARFAC Fee standards.
At AX, we recognize the profound importance of Indigenous voices and perspectives in the arts. As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and cultural representation, we are dedicated to amplifying Indigenous art and culture within our community. By providing a platform for Indigenous artists to exhibit their work, we aim to foster greater understanding, appreciation, and celebration of Indigenous creativity and heritage.
