ARTériel, a new cultural podcast
Imago Print Studio, the HAT Collective, the Galerie d’art Louise-et-Reuben-Cohen, and Galerie Sans Nom present ARTériel, a creative radio laboratory that explores the cultural ecosystem of the Greater Moncton area and beyond.
Each episode of this podcast is unique, allowing you an intimate look behind the scenes of local contemporary art! You’ll find conversations between artists, exhibition tours and reviews, testimonials and a look back on important cultural activities.
The most recent episode of ARTériel (in French) is presented by l’Association des groupes en arts visuels francophones (AGAVF) and is produced by Véronique Leblanc, curator-mentor, with the collaboration of Anne Bertrand, communications officer. It introduces a project called the Curatorial Incubator. Initiated in the summer of 2019 by l’AGAVF, the Incubator is an intensive residency which offers “curators from the Francophone and Acadian communities the opportunity to equip themselves for the realization of exhibition projects and artistic events with artists from these communities. “.

Coming this spring, two new episodes will offer a guided tour of the public artworks in the city of Moncton which are part of the Images rémanentes itinerary (French and English), as well as a specially commissioned sound work by a guest artist of the RE:FLUX Festival. This public engagement programming corresponds to the Galerie d’art Louise-et-Reuben-Cohen and its partners objective of connecting contemporary art with a public of all ages. ARTériel is a collective project; those interested in submitting ideas and participating in its realization are welcome.
