Fall has almost arrived, and that means that another session of the CATAPULT Arts Accelerator will be starting up very soon.
We’re thrilled to be announcing the CATAPULT cohort who will be learning the fundamental entrepreneurial skills they need in their arts businesses.
Tina Antle (of Inspired Ceramics) is an artisanal potter based in Riverview, NB. Her work focuses on bringing beauty and presence to rituals of daily life.
Ranz Jaren Bontogon is an emerging Filipino artist and photographer based in New Brunswick coming from the Philippines. Through his lens, he strives to capture genuine moments and tell powerful stories that celebrate diversity, igniting curiosity about different cultures and perspectives.
Max Brown is a stained glass artist from Fredericton, he makes images based in no particular theme. Creating makes him very happy and he doesn’t feel driven to explain it beyond that.
Alina Karmadanova is a contemporary artist based in Fredericton, NB, exploring female experiences, themes of national identity, and the human psyche.
Sabarah Pilon is a multi-disciplinary artist whose main focus is experimental electronic music. She creates and performs as DenMother.
April Pyne is an abstract artist inspired by geometric shapes, fragmented forms and city landscapes. She is based in Moncton, NB.
Jasmine Violette is a watercolour artist based in Moncton, NB, whose paintings are inspired by the beauty of wildlife and nature.
Janie McLaughlin is a hearing impaired, multidisciplinary artist and fashion designer, who received the gift to manipulate any kind of materials, mostly textiles and paintings. In each artwork, there’s a story to tell.
Launch Day will be Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Moncton, so save the date and come hear pitches from these amazing artists about the business side of their art practice.
