Creativity is leading the wave of innovation and change globally. Opportunities to share knowledge and strategies about the interdisciplinary and problem-solving potential of creativity are now critical in meeting the social, cultural and economic needs of today’s world.

This conference will be interactive and multidimensional; offering a variety of sessions designed to capture the imagination, inspire and engage participants through creative processes and problem solving. Participants will gain a greater understanding of creativity, its impact on our lives and how it can be used to address and solve real-life problems.

The guiding principles of the conference relate to the mission of the Atlantic Centre for Creativity. This interdisciplinary centre brings together disparate groups to explore how collaborative critical and creative engagement can be used to problem-solve, raise important dialogue, strengthen creative economies, and invigorate communities.

We are seeking submissions that are interdisciplinary, multimodal and interactive in nature. Creating combinations of the following areas such as:

The central goal of the Atlantic Centre for Creativity and the Creative Connections Conference is to increase awareness, and enhance creative practices across disciplines including: sciences, the arts, business, entrepreneurship and education. It will be an interdisciplinary, interactive and collaborative conference designed to encourage participants to ‘think outside the box’, take risks, share new ideas and enhance teaching practices.
