Visual arts group critiquing sessions!
On Wednesday, May 18, at 6 PM, at the Centre des Arts et de la Culture de Dieppe
With Mario LeBlanc, Emilie Grace Lavoie, & Maryse Arseneault.
The sessions are open to the artistic community and to people who are interested in visual arts. Everyone present is encouraged to actively participate in the discussion. Please note that most of the discussion will be held in French.
There will also be snacks!
CRITS! Entre artistes is an artists’ meeting meant for the sharing of insights and questions on contemporary art. It is an occasion for artists to share a work in progress or a project in the context of an open, constructive critique directed by various invited contributors, that is, professionals of the cultural ecosystem.
How the CRITS! Work
The session will take place between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. During this session, 3 artists (Mario LeBlanc,
Emilie Grace Lavoie & Maryse Arseneault) will have the opportunity to present their work to the group and
a guest will lead the discussion. Each discussion will last between 15 and 20 min. These exchanges will
encourage questions, insights, comments and sharing inspiration around the work presented by the artist.
The Centre des Arts et de la Culture de Dieppe is located at 331 Acadie Ave, in Dieppe, NB. The event will take place in the establishments’ multifunction room.
