This online course is designed to build knowledge of general photography concepts gradually in a way that doesn’t overwhelm. To give people new skills to take their photography to higher levels by giving them more control of their photography and the results they get. To make purposeful decisions and photos rather than letting the camera dictate. To help remove the fear of that little green square! All of this will be done in a collaborative, non-judgmental, and encouraging environment keeping in mind that photography is supposed to be fun first. Over four weeks, we’ll look at:
- Student objectives & The Exposure Triangle
- Learning principles of composition
- Understanding the differences between RAW & JPEG files
- Intro to editing applications such as applications like Adobe Lightroom and mobile apps like Snapseed will be used for demonstration.
