Opening – Texture and Hue and Love Songs: A Journal of Fateful Encounters

Opening Friday, October 8 from 5-7 pm at Gallery 78 are two exhibitions of new works to get you into the colourful season of fall. Texture and Hue by Matthew Collins explores the irregular and beautiful landscape of southern Nova Scotia through his expressionist and colourist lens. Love Songs: A Journal of Fateful Encounters by Alan Grabelsky features glimpses into what he calls “the sweet spot between intention and accident.” His original serigraph prints are thoughtful visual representations of reciprocity and connection.
The works will be available online starting October 5. As per GNB’s latest mandates, masks are required indoors, and proof of vaccination is required for entry to the opening ONLY on Friday, Oct. 8.
