Gallery 78 Exhibition: Our Water, Our World
June 19 - July 11
Opening June 19 and on display until July 11, Our Water, Our World is Nova Scotia artist Monika Wright’s latest solo exhibition where she explores the finite resource that is water, a ubiquitous substance vital to our existence and future. She honours water in its various movements, from ripples to waves crashing, to the ceaseless ebb and flow of the ocean.
Additionally, by artists from the region, Ode to Fredericton will be on display, a group exhibition with new works portraying the capital city. Last but not least, returning to show their graduating pieces, the NBCCD’s Advanced Studio Practice presents RESET, an exciting collection of ceramics, textile and fibre art, fashion, illustration and graphic design.
Meet some of the artists outside and tour the gallery in limited numbers from 4-8 pm on Friday, June 19. Face masks are required, and handmade masks will be available to buy. For more information and to view the work virtually, click here.
