Hire students! Get a subsidy of up to $7,500 for their salary till March 31st, 2022.

With funding from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC) is launching the Student Work Placement (SWP) Program for the cultural sector. This program aims to connect students to cultural sector employers with wage subsidies for placements that offer students relevant work experience. Students will have the opportunity to apply learned skills through a paid position related to their field of study, and develop skills that will allow them to integrate seamlessly into the workforce. Employers will be able to engage with post-secondary institutions and students to align skills development to the labour market demand.
