START Gallery is Mount Allison’s student-run space at 7 Lorne St. in the Mi’kmaki region. START organizes juried exhibitions of MTA student art. They will be programming five, 2-week exhibitions from January to April 2023, with our first show expected to open January 24th.
There will be TWO deadlines for submissions:
Early Bird Deadline: December 20th, 2022
Final Deadline: January 9th, 2023
All submissions are due before the winter semester begins!

Exhibition proposals must include:
-Contact information: names/prounouns/email/phone number
-Title and Description: What are you proposing to show? How many works? What mediums? How will they be presented?
-A brief artists statement
-Installation Requirements
-Minimum 5 images of work you are proposing to show (.jpeg or .png, between 1-5MB, minimum 1200 pixels wide)
-An image list with file number, title, medium, dimensions, and year of creation for each of your images
